On Saturday January 25th 2025, Senior rescue technicians mentored our newer rescuers on ice rescue. For several hours our volunteers practiced various techniques in rescuing victims from freezing waters. Our rescue technicians practiced direct and indirect contact rescue skills that could be used for people and animals.

Please remember to be cautious around ice. If you want to skate or play hockey, do it safely at one of the area ice skating rinks.
